6th Workshop of Graduates and Post-Docs in Chemical Engineering Sciences (ΗΜΜΕ6)
We are pleased to announce the 6th Workshop of Graduates and Post-Docs in Chemical Engineering Sciences (ΗΜΜΕ6), organized by the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences of the Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH/ICE-HT) on December 3–4 2026 (from ~17:00 on 3/12 to ~17:00 on 4/12) at the Institute’s Conference Centre. This year the Workshop will be combined with the FORTH/ICE-HT Distinguished Lecture “Alkiviadis Ch. Payatakes”, which will take place on the afternoon of December 3, 2026.
The Institute’s Workshops for Graduates and Postdocs (ΗΜΜΕ’s) are an institution that began in 2014, with the aim of supporting the young researchers who collaborate with the Institute, giving them the opportunity to present their research activities and scientific work, while themselves contributing to the organization and coordination of the workshop. It will include oral presentations and posters by postgraduate students, doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in the Institute’s research areas (Ras): Nanotechnology/Advanced Materials, Energy, Environment, Biosciences/Biotechnology, as well as invited talks by established researchers. Prizes and commendations for the best presentations will be awarded. Events accompanying the workshop include a welcome reception and a celebratory dinner after its conclusion.

Participation is free, but registration is required for the better organization of the events, also via the Workshop website.
